Dream’s Importance
Yusuf discussed a dream he felt as a child with his father, Ya’qub. Realising the dream’s importance, Ya’qub realised it was a divine prophecy that one day his sons. Including himself and his wife—would bend down in reverence and honour before Yusuf. His brothers hatred for Yusuf was made worse this dream. Since they were afraid he might grow strong and well-known in the future.

The Temptation and Egyptian Life
A wealthy Egyptian official known in the Qur’an as “Al-Aziz” (the Minister of Egypt) purchased Yusuf. Zulaikha, al-Aziz’s wife in Islamic tradition, fell in love with Yusuf because of his outstanding beauty. Yusuf remained honourable and resisted her approaches in spite of his attraction. Zulaikha tried to woo Yusuf one day while they were by oneself, but he resisted and ran away. She falsely accused Yusuf of trying to woo her out of dissatisfaction and shame, and as a result, he was confined.

After their return with Benjamin, Yusuf ultimately told his family who he was because he loved them and wanted to see them change their ways. He recognised that their prior betrayal was a necessary. Component of God’s divine plan to put him in his current position, therefore he forgave them for it.
Belief in God
His siblings were afraid of what he would say because they were ashamed of what they had done..
His selfless signal of forgiveness showed his strong belief in God and his understanding that. In spite of his challenges, everything took place in accordance with God’s larger purpose.
The reunion of the family and Yusuf’s last years
In order to help his father, Ya’qub, and the rest of his family all over the remaining years of the famine. Yusuf invited them to relocate to Egypt.
