In Islam, Friday, referred to as Jumu’ah, is regarded as the best day of the week. There are a lot of chances to worship, develop mentally, and win Allah’s (SWT) favour on this day. Friday is significant, according to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). And there are numerous activities we can perform to optimise this day of blessings.

1. Say the prayer of Jumu’ah.
The most significant spiritual duty for Muslims on Fridays is the Jumu’ah prayer. Following an imam-led discourse (khutbah). It consists of two rak’ahs (units of prayer) and takes the place of the traditional Dhuhr prayer. While not required, the Jumu’ah prayer is highly recommended for women and required for men.

As to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH),
As long as no serious sins take place. Tthe five daily prayers, and from one Jumu’ah to the next, are expiation for whatever [sins] occurred between them.”

10 prayers

“On Friday, increase the number of times you pray for me. Allah will send 10 prayers upon whoever sends one upon me.

Seeking Allah for blessings, becoming closer to him. And requesting his mercy are all achieved by sending salat upon the Prophet (PBUH). Whilst Darood Ibrahim (Salat Ibrahimiyya), one of the most popular and advised variations of Darood. It is read during prayers, it is also highly beneficial to recite Darood at any time on Friday.

Offer up a du’a (the prayer).
Friday is an especially special day to make du’a because Allah (SWT) acts in kind on this day. Fulfilling the requests and wishes of His followers.
While its exact moment is unresolved it is believed to be either right before the Jumu’ah prayer or in the last hours of the day. You should offer genuine prayers to Allah during this fortunate period. Asking for everything that will benefit you both here on Earth and in the Hereafter.

• Individual Du’a:
On Friday, spend some time contemplating both your own and other people’s needs.

Takbir

Reciting the Tasbih (SubhanAllah), Tahmid (Alhamdulillah), Takbir (Allahu Akbar). And Tawhid (La ilaha illallah) is one way to participate in Dhikr. You will have greater calm and tranquilly the more you remember Allah.
