Angel Jibra’il (A.S.), also known as Gabriel in Christianity, is one of Islam’s most important and respected angels. Jibra’il’s (A.S.) duty goes beyond giving revelations. He was a prominent figure in many significant events in Islamic history. For example, he helped the Muslim forces in the Battle of Badr. Jibra’il (A.S.) also sent to guide the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) during the Isra and Mi’raj. The miraculous night voyage and ascension in which the Prophet transported from Makkah to Jerusalem and then ascended through the sky.
Jibra’il (A.S.) also informed Prophet Isa’s mother, Maryam (R.A.), about his birth and helped Prophet Musa (A.S.) on his mission in Egypt.

Jibra’il (A.S.), in addition to his tasks in this world, will have a part in the afterlife. According to Islamic religion, Muhammad will participate in the events of the Day of Judgement by carrying out Allah’s orders. He is one of the angels who will sound the trumpet to proclaim the end of the world, prepare for the resurrection of all mankind for final justice.
